“You’ve got a beautiful voice.”
“You should really do a podcast.”
“I love the questions you ask.”
I’ve been told some variation of those messages for most of my life. Somehow, I never believed them until I took a beginner’s class in voiceover and fell in love. That led me down a year-long journey of training to be a voiceover artist (huge shout-out to Atlanta Voiceover Studio). But the more I used my voice, the more I had things to say and questions I want to ask.
As fate would have it, I was offered a class with the fabulous Rob Cressy through Jesse Itzler‘s Build Your Life Resume program. Before I knew it, I outlined a podcast inspired by my sisters. I love listening to their stories of resilience, ingenuity, love, and loss. Then, I thought – why not get the honest truth about what it means to be a woman, mother, and in business from the women who have been there. That’s what Tales She Told Me is all about.
And now, it has launched! Is this podcast for you? Well, if you’re someone looking to find more meaning, more joy, and funner ways to live, you’re in the right place. Every week, we’ll talk to women from all types of backgrounds about the seasons of their life about a topic they have experienced and grown from.
I hope you enjoy it! Make sure to reach out on all social media platforms @farrahhaidar. and tell me what’s the one thing you’re struggling with today.
